Creating a Better Tomorrow through Vaccine Research
My wife and I have a small 1-man laboratory continuing the themes of Fuller Laboratories, sold to VMRD after 35 years of diagnostic work with vector-borne agents. We have a small Class 2 facility allowing a focus on cell culture and microscopy, also utilizing IFA, ELISA and western immuno-blot techniques. Our initial vaccine focus has utilized common, but non-pathogenic, Rickettsia spp. in an attempt to immunize against all species.
Collaboration with university research laboratories with access to animal facilities is often required for other agents, as well, including Babesia microti and Theileria orientalis Ikeda, whose life cycles rely upon mammalian host interaction to propagate both in vivo and in vitro. Collaboration and discussion are both welcome. Contact me at Lee@FullerVaccineResearch.com.
